Meanwhile, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain Friday demanded of the government to adopt a clear policy to tackle the scourge of terrorismHe was talking to media persons after visiting the blast site. Mian Iftikhar said the incident has proved that the militants didn't want restoration of peace in Pakistan.

He said Imran Khan's statement to establish a Qatar-like office for Taliban in Pakistan was illogical and would only increase terrorist attacks. The nationalist leader asked the federal government to implement the decisions and resolutions adopted by the All Parties Conference forthwith as any further delay in the implementation of the APC decisions would cause more damage.
